Training Pits and Pads
Loose Foam Training Pit

Made from the same great materials as the Carpet Bonded Foam and used for padded edging in in-ground training pits.

  • Consists of cross-link polyethylene foam bonded to a low pile blue carpet with finished edges in sections of 2” thick and 6’ length

  • Pit edging will cover 14” of the concrete floor and 22” inside the in-ground pit wall

Foam Cubes

Provides a combination of softness, durability and safe landing.

  • Foam cubes fill rate: 75% minimum

  • Available in 6”x 6”x 6” and 8”x 8”x 8” sizes

  • Standard blue with other color options available

Trampoline Bed

  • A trampoline bed mounted 2ft. above the bottom of the pit which provides support for loose foam cubes as well as floor clearance

Foam Pylons

For added safety & longevity AAI’s foam modules can be placed below the trampoline bed providing additional support.

  • Foam Pylons are 2’ x 2’ x 2’ in shape

  • Help minimize sag over time

  • Typically spaced 6’ on center (3’ from walls)

  • Foam Pylons vary in size depending on pit size

  • Increases cushioning for training

  • Bare base foam modules can minimize cost

  • Customized foam firmness upon request

Training Pits

All AAI® training pits are designed for maximum cushioning during the training of new skills.

  • Pits are 24" (61cm) or 32’’ (81cm) thick, utilizing the combination of one-piece foam sections providing an optimum combination of softness and maximization of foam life

  • 18 oz. vinyl covers the bottom and sides with a mesh top that allows air release upon landings

  • Zipper fastener permits easy inserting and checking foam

  • 2’’ (5cm) reinforced handles are attached for easy mobility
